Starting February 17, 2021 begins a weekly virtual workshop series on teaching students how to succeed not only in the classroom but outside of it too. During these workshops guest speaker Marisel Herrera will be hosting and providing strategies and the best practices for helping achieve your goals via Zoom.

This virtual workshop series is broken down into 4 sessions that are weekly from 5 pm to 6:15 pm. First session starting February 17 and the last one ending March 10. These workshops are available to all Maricopa Community Colleges. Guest speaker Herrera will go in-depth with students on her 25 year experience as a certified life coach, educator, and motivational speaker in this interactive series. You can check your student email for more information and how to register for one or all of these workshops.

The first session will be to “explore the importance of appropriating your personal power and connecting to and utilizing your unique “why” and purpose.” Second session will be helping students to build a community of support in aiding their success. Session three will be about resilience when facing difficulties, staying motivated, and how to make setbacks your stepping stones. The last session will be going over all the content that was presented in the series and how to apply it to your life.

This is the perfect opportunity to take hold of your success and future with learning new tips, strategies and practices derived from coaching, higher education, and positive psychology. For more information on this workshop, scheduling, and how to register, you can click this link!
