In Episode 21 of the Weekly Gaucho Podcast, I have a member of generation Alpha as a guest to talk about social media and news. In this episode Samantha and I go over what she knows in regards to what the news is and what social media is. As she explains her knowledge of these topics, I go a little further into the topic by asking her how she thinks she would approach using social media herself and where she believes a good news source would be for her. After Samantha explains how and why she would use social media for news, we go over the trustworthiness of social media as a news source. She then takes a minute to describe how she would fact check her news source.
