No one said Exercising is easy! But it does offer many benefits. It is important to start out slow if it’s been a while since you last exercised. Try walking at first for about 5 to 10 minutes and then gradually go up as you get stronger. Schedule it into that busy schedule. Make some time to take care of you! Prepare your exercise clothes the day before so it will be ready for you in the morning. This will give you motivation to get yourself going. Set some goals for a month or so to make yourself accountable. It can help to get an exercise buddy but only if it’s someone who is also making that commitment to exercise. Starting to exercise doesn’t mean you have to get a gym membership. Get creative and mix it up! You can go hiking, walking in the neighborhood, walking your dog, swimming, YouTube some exercise videos, yoga or even join any social group that works out together.
Benefits you get from exercise are endless and it can control weight. It also can prevent and help manage any health issues going on. It can also improve your mood, energy and promotes sleep. We all want to feel great so we can do the things we love!
